A Powerful Trend

I am a firm believer in standing out from the crowd. This means taking risks and challenging yourself constantly. With maturity, trials, and tribulations, I no longer exist comparing or competing with my fellow mommies but rather striving to be the best version of "Nicole" possible. We are all on this crazy ride together.

The same notion applies to my approach to fashion. I never settle. If I choose to wear all black one day, I make a conscious effort to incorporate a colorful piece of jewelry, playful shoe, or accessory, such as a scarf, to make things pop. It's amazing to watch an unadorned outfit metamorphose instantly. If my reflection in the mirror screams, chic, trendy, and effortless, I have succeeded.

The "perfect" trend to instantly polish and amplify any outfit is leopard! Leopard print has silently remained every woman's secret wardrobe weapon for quite some time. Leopard fur coats, evening wear, bathing suits, hats, bags, and suits have been worn by famous actresses and celebrities tracing back to the 1920's. While fashion is fickle, leopard and animal prints have stood the test of time. Being made up of browns, beige, and black, they are season-less. They can be worn with almost everything and add edginess to your wardrobe. For some, you may feel like leopard is swallowing you whole! Hence, animal print accessories will suffice and be just as eye-catching. Meow!
