Blissful Chaos

I am literally going out of my mind this winter! My kids alternate between viruses every other week. To make matters worse, my youngest diva, Mia Rose, has decided to go on an all out medicine strike. Under no conditions, will she comply. This morning I frantically chased her around the kitchen until I was finally able to snatch the little devil up. Either she is going to be the next Jackie Joyner-Kersee or I am just completely out of shape! Nonetheless, after holding mini Arnold Schwarzenegger down and shoving the syringe in her mouth, she proceeds to spit the entire 10 ml back into my face and

down my shirt. Thankfully, I was still in my pajamas. Phew! This scenario wasn't how I envisioned the start of my day. Oh, the challenges of motherhood.

On the flip side, this afternoon, I received an email containing some very exquisite shots of my oldest diva, Gianna Leigh. They were taken by the very talented Nicki Bosch Photography. Gianna, an avid lover of dance like her mommy, modeled some Gaynor Minden dance wear for Nicki at the dance studio. The stress of the morning instantly vanished as I stared at my little girl. When did my first born get so big? Even more importantly, how lucky am I to have her as my daughter. She is growing up to be the sweetest, most passionate young lady. Just when the mommy roller coaster was on it's way down, a sweet moment like this brought me right back on track. Here's to a week of less medicine mishaps and more reminders of what being a mommy is all about. We got this ladies!!! Have a very fabulous and fashionable weekend.
