Since starting this blog and styling business, I have gained a newfound confidence that I thought was forever lost after becoming a mom. Let's face it. When we take on the role of "mommy," our previous life seems like a distant memory. One we can reflect back on in pictures and reminiscing with old friends. Every anniversary, I traditionally bring out the old wedding album and vaguely remember the bride staring back at me. After almost 10 years of this tired tradition, I knew it was time for a "mommy makeover of the soul!

"Stay at Home Stylist" has made me a better wife, mom and friend. It has forced me to stress less about the small things, such as a dirty bathroom or unwashed dishes and prioritize the important stuff. I am now more fervent and much more assertive. The most gratifying outcome is that I am teaching my daughters the importance of hard work, determination and pursuing your dreams and passions. A valuable life lesson.

My girls now look at me as more than a "mom." They are fascinated by this new journey and have been so supportive. They give me the time to research and write and constantly praise my efforts. Their faith in me is indescribable. I am very lucky!!! So tonight, I honor them. It's because of Gianna Leigh and Mia Rose, that I have shifted. I, now proudly answer to "Stay at Home Stylist" as well.
