Since having my girls, I am always looking for unique fashion finds and accessories that stand out from the norm. I hit the jackpot when I was introduced to MiniMissyDesigns. My good friend Nicole, generously gave my daughter Gianna this fabulous decorative picture frame for her birthday a few years ago. I was so drawn to it. Bedazzled and colorful, I had to know where it was from. Thankfully, Nicole passed along all the pertinent information and I headed straight to Etsy to MiniMissy's site. I was transported into a world of colors, vibrancy, and handmade works of art. So many frames, hand-painted shoes, clothing and accessories flooded her page. I was amazed at her talent and creativity instantly. Not only did I purchase a few more frames as gifts, I had to have the painted shoes and shorts for my girls. The rest is history!

Over the years, I have purchased so many goodies from Melissa. Frames, garbage cans, a personalized bible and cross for Gianna's communion, and a hand-painted jean jacket, are among some of my favorites. She has brought a smile to my girls' faces time and time again and my friends too have fallen in love with her work. Not to mention, she has always been prompt, reliable, extremely helpful, and benevolent. An absolute pleasure to work with!

Most recently, I went shopping with a friend to Anthropologie. I never shop there because it's typically out of my budget, but I decided to look around. I fell in love with this splattered button down top. There's was just something about it that I was enamored with. The price tag read $110 and I chuckled out loud. There was no way I was wasting that kind of money on a piece of clothing with some paint splashed on it! I left empty-handed but I was still fixated on that shirt! I knew there had to be away to recreate it at half the cost. Melissa to the rescue. I reached out to her and asked if she could replicate it. She graciously accepted the challenge and went right to task on a shirt that I provided for her. Her work exceeded my expectations. Not that I am surprised! She truly is one talented lady. If you are searching for an exceptional or very individualized and special gift, MiniMissyDesigns is your gal!!!
